crossbars hit, super bowl.

first post in the football section
the play that went off the crossbars, tipped pass. If someone would have caught it after would that have stood? Or is it out of bounds?

The goal posts and crossbar are out of bounds, just like the basket supports in basketball. The pass was incomplete as soon as it hit the bar.

...which is why the back judge started signaling incomplete even before the ball hit the ground.
