Downstate Illinois (you know, the area the areas south of Chicago). ;)
$50-75 for a single varsity game (5-man crews) $80-120 for a double-header (Soph plays before Varsity, 5-man) $40-60 for an underclassman game. (mostly 4-man crews) $35-50 per game for multiple a peewee/Jr High games (3 to 5 man depending upon the league). |
55-65 for varsity (5-man)
45-50 for JV and freshmen. (some schools are using 5 man most are 4) We've also been going to some JV games and taking a 5th official for training purposes then splitting the $200 fee between five instead of 4. |

It's been that way since I have been officiating. I guess because the whitehat theoretically has more headaches. It used to be $5 and it was raised to $15 a couple of years ago when we all got raises. |

Colorado:
$55 for varsity (5 crew) $41 for sub-varsity (unfortunately both freshman and JV play 12 minute qrtrs unless we can talk them into 10 min..which doesn't happen very often). Our association works 5 man crew in sub varsity as well for training and allowing younger officials more games. I'm for the $15 white hat bonus!! |

We had a game this year where one of our officials was accidentally listed as a security guard rather than an official. His check was $125 rather than $65. We told our referee that we would be missing a few games later in the season because we were going to try to get hired as security guards at this school.

For playoff games they add $10 to each official's pay. Sub-varsity (3 or 4-man crew), we get $35. Clock operators get $40. |
In Tennessee, each of the five officials makes $85. The ECO gets $65. No travel dollars.
Middle school games pay $60. Youth games pay $35, though I don't know if that's true all across the state. |
In South Central Nebraska, most schools pay by the crew...
Varsity games range from 325 to 400. Mostly 5 man crews a couple of 6s and even 1 or 2 4s. One crew I was on divided the usual 325 and paid 60 a person and then the driver got the extra. The crew I'm on now just divides it out evenly and we all take turns driving. JV games 160-200. Mostly 4 man crews. JH games 120-150. Mostly 3 man crews. PW games 100-120. Usually 3 sometimes 2 or 4. |

When I worked there in 1994, I made as much for a varsity game then as I do now in WI. Their ECOs make as much as we make for working the game. |
