Review Question
[Visiting from the little yellow ball board]
So last night watching the BYU-TCU game, an interesting situation almost happened and I was curious what the result would have been. K punted to R and a R player appears to touch the ball. K then recovered the kick. The officials got together and called illegal touching at the spot of R's touching and awarded the ball to R. They then got together again and awarded the ball to K. The play was reviewed and it was not clear whether the ball was really touched or not so the call stood. The question I have is what if they hadn't gotten together the second time. That is replay shows indisputably that the call on the field was wrong but doesn't show conclusively what should have been called. ________ Cheap glass pipes Last edited by youngump; Mon Sep 19, 2011 at 06:29pm. |
