Christmas list

I started a thread like this on the basketball page since I officiate football and basketball.

What is on your officiating wish list for Christmas?

In football, one of my wishes is that coaches understand that there is no foul for "12 in the huddle". I have spent more than one timeout explaining that the replaced player left the huddle ASAP; there is no foul.

Your thoughts, please.

A good rating for this season from my association and another great season next year.

That too! A sideline akin to the NCAA's would be nice.

- My gut to disappear. Or bigger shirts a la Peyton Manning.
- My poor, broken down, old wheels to stop hurting (..so much)
- Amen to the NCAA sideline.
- Fed approved NFL style winter gear.
- Footies with shorts instead of OTC socks.

A full season without a lightning delay - heck, even a full month would be nice after this season!

NFL announcers start explaining "that's not the high school rule." Okay, that's just a fantasy, not a Christmas wish, never mind.

Then you wish to work in Illinois (Chicagoland, anyway.) Luckily I got the legs for it.
