I dont have my books, but why does 3 yards matter, I was under the impression that if you are talking about the neutral zone, even the expanded neutral zone only goes out for 2 yards...
REPLY: NCAA doesn't have an "expanded neutral zone" per se, but instead uses three yards as its surrogate. Same holds for PSK enforcement--foul must occur at least three yards beyond the NZ.
