Eagles/Packers Review Situation

Anyone feel sorry for the WH who was shown reviewing a play on the monitor with all those Eagles fans expressing their opinions seemingly about ten feet from where the WH stood?

Nope. I'm an Eagles fan, though.

Next week prescription bottles will rain on TO as he takes the field

TO deserves whatever he gets.

Although I'm sure the few bad examples of Philadelphia sports history will be dragged out -- the 30 idiots booing the drafting of McNabb, the snowball/Santa incident from the 60s, the D-batteries being hurled at JD Drew, etc.

Philly fans are passionate and, most importantly, REAL.

Or the ECW wrestling fans in Philly chanting "We are not hostile!" Oh, the irony.

While booing is fine in my books, throwing D-batteries at someone is REAL not cool. Shame on Philly fans!

I was a regular at the ECW Arena (Viking Hall) from the Eastern Championship Wrestling days until I moved from the area. If you have any videos, I was in the front row at a lot of the early events. What a blast.

The D battery thing was an aberration, actually. Some idiots who were still mad at JD Drew refusing to sign with Philly and playing indy ball until he could be drafted by anther team the following season tossed the batteries.

Ah, the memories.
