Pylons

I've seen and heard many interpretations of pylon placement at intersection of goal line and sideline...maybe I can get a consensus since the RNF Rulebook can be sliced many ways...we place the goal line extended pylons on the sideline, with the front edge of the pylon (facing field of play) even with the front plane of the goal line...is this how you crews place these in HS?

Further, the corner intersection of sideline, and end line pylons are actually in the EZ corners ( in the field of play), on inside of intersection of endline and side line according to NFHS Rulebook (don't have page # handy).

Please help.

No- the pylons are outside the EZ. The southwest corner of the pylon touches the northeast corner of the EZ. Should be exactly 10 yards further down the sideline as the GL pylon- if the field is marked correctly.

Thanks for the feedback...I had the goalline correct, but actually placed the endline pylons in the EZ, which seemed wrong to me. The placement you suggested makes sense in that if a reciever were to make first contact with this corner pylon when coming down with a pass reception, he is OB, no question.
