Obviously, we are talking in terms of late game, Team A ahead situtions. Other situations may call for different standards of "obviously unfair" and "shall" be administered equitably in their own regard.

Of course, the Florida Supreme Court in the Bush/Gore decision said that a conflict in statutes, involving the words "shall" and "may", would be resolved by substituting "can't."

My post assumes the NCAA doesn't follow such so-called "logic!"

LOL, I work NFHS rules but that is a good one!
