Does anyone know what the current pay scale is like, benefits, insurance...etc. Where could I find this information?

Referee mag publishes this info from time to time. I haven't subscribed in years, but if you could find the mag at a large library, you'd probably find it in there somewhere.

Its a range of pay with something like $1,500 a game for first year guys to well over $3,000 a game for vets. Rest assured, the work they do during the week and on weekends calls for that kind of money. I'd bet they easily put in 40 hour weeks just on football, especially counting travel.

I recently have heard 5-8k a game but not sure if this is true or not.

A 2-3 years ago Tom White was fined half of a $5200 game fee for a ****-up.
