Someone wanted examples to dispel the myth that you “penalize them from where it hurts the most”.

Add this one:

Free kick, receiving team begins the old Cal backward pass routine. Unfortunately, about the third pass was forward at R’s 40. It was completed, with the receiver treating another 10 yards where he is tackled at R’s 30.

From where do you administer the foul if accepted?

10-4-3 is PSK. This is not a PSK foul, as R has possessed the kick. This is an illegal forward pass - 5 yards from the spot of the IFP. There is no LOD cuz this the foul was after team possession changed. Rule 7-5-2-A.

REPLY: It also can't be PSK because it was a free kick.
