So I guess that league is not about teaching kids football, sportsmanship and character. There must be alot of money on the line.

Ah, such wonderful news from my home town of Toms River.
Having been a baseball umpire at the Little League that won the LLWS a few years after I moved away, I can safely say that there are a fair number of... intense coaches in the area. On the other hand, Southern Regional (the high school near the associated PW organization) had a (somewhat deserved) nasty reputation at least through about 10 years ago - I doubt that's changed much.
