During a punt/PAT, while the lineman are blocking down can they grab/hold their teammates jersey to form a fence?

This is for high school.

I just read the post about Interlocked blocking. This looks like the applicable rule.

Rule (2-3-10) states that "Interlocked blocking occurs when one player grasps or encircles a teammate just prior to or while blocking an opponent."

Yep..I had almost the same thing last Saturday. Five players on the return team all held hands, formed a wall and started moving forward. First time in my 10 years I've had interlocked blocking. It was fun reporting it too..

"You're not going to believe this..I have interlocked blocking on R during the return"

"INTERLOCKED BLOCKING?"

"Yes..do you know the signal"

"No..do you"

I gave it to him. :-P
