Working on some material to present to league administrators and would like some information on what surrounding states are getting paid, we're in Kansas. Information on Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, Iowa in any/all sports would be appreciated. Please include as much information as you can as far as different levels, mileage, how many per crew, etc. Thanks in advance.

NW Iowa, $70 - $80 for varsity, no mileage. 9th-JV is $60 each for a 4 man crew and middle school is $50 for a 3 man crew.

Thanks. Just for everybody's reference, my area is $55-$65 for varsity, no mileage. $27.50-$35 for freshman-JV and usually $30-$35 for JH.

V= $65-75, most KC area schools paying $72.50
JV= 5 man, fees?
Below JV-8= 4 man, fees?

I am working more underclass games this fall. I know area FB officials received a pay raise for underclass games. Once I hear how much we will be paid for those games, I will let you know.

Where in KS are you located?

Oklahoma
60-70 plus milage to some locations for varsity
JV around 30-35 depending on the school
jr high 22-30
little kids 28 plus milage depending on location.

Yeah go figure you can get paid more for a 3rd thru 7th grade game than some 7th thru 9th grade games.

I am also curious where you are devdog69.

I am in Wichita. Normal varsity is $55-$65 for 5-man. At least one league in this area pays a little lower for 5-man to keep school expenses down. There are no more leagues which pay mileage in this area. They increased each check $5 and that allows us to make it right with the driver on our own. In Wichita, JV gets paid $25 for four and that is an improvement over just 6 years ago. Then they paid only three like $30 each. JH around town gets $25 per game.

kentref gave you the fees for the Omaha metro area. I'd like to add to his that Iowa varsity sometimes does go to 75, depending on the school.

Mileage is a rare thing around here. Sometimes schools that have trouble getting officials will add mileage for 1 vehicle in addition to the game fee. There was one I noticed in Nebraska, but it's a 3 1/2 hour drive from Omaha.
