The Fed usually comes out every January with a newsletter outlining their upcoming season's rules revisions, editorial changes, etc. Any guesses as to what the 2005 changes, revisions, etc will be?

I doubt that will be a change.

My guess on points of emphasis, OPI/contacting a reciever downfield, helmet contact, sportsmanship and possibly equipment(mouthpieces?).

Question

Has there ever been a year where there are not any changes?

Can't the book be the same for 2 years in a row?

Just asking.

Some years have more change than others. I predict that 2005 will bring minimal changes as the last two saw a major change with PSK then PSK clarification and coaches time outs.

They haven't revised the towel specifications in a few months. That's probably something on the front burner.

LOL!!!

1-5-3k...Uniform adornments other than one unmarked moisture-absorbing white towel, which shall be no less than 4 inches in width and 12 inches in length and no greater than 18 inches in width and 36 inches in length, no less than 200 thread count and can be purchased only at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

So will the Head Coach be responsible for producing the BB&B receipt? What is the enforcement for this flagrant foul?

15 days of shopping at a department store??

"Coach, that's a copy of the receipt. I need to see the actual."

"But the guy took my original last week!"

"Sorry, coach. You can't use this towel, then."

With this rule, each state willnow HAVE to employ 1 additional crew member for every game, as it is now official duty of the LINE JUDGE to inspect each towel for its BB&B logo AND count to make sure there are NO LESS that 200 threads.

we could have so much fun wiht this one
