We could come up with some device to measure the towel size - sort of like the rack they have at airports to measure the size of carry-on luggage.

Hey, don't laugh..
One of the Honig's game cards has a notch cut into it so we could check the legality of cleat length should one have a pressing need to do so.
Beats carrying around a ruler.

What we need is a bullet pencil that's notched every inch or so with the added bonus that it's a pressure gauge on the other end.

REPLY: But if it can't measure <i>"...Rockwell hardness of approximately C55,"</i> what good is it?

Use the stripes on the shirt. I use it to measure the height of a tee if it looks too high.

A combination pen/pencil/pressure gauge/metal hardness detector would be nice.

10 yards of twine connecting the cap to the pencil would be a dandy addition in case the chain crew is a no show.

Don't forget a backup whistle and a skeleton key (to get you through locked door to your changing room).
