Cool

Had 2 plays that I am in question of, and would like to know if i handeled them correctly.

1) 4/8 A-43. Fake punt is run, throws to A67 (interior Lineman). Catches the ball past nz for a 4 yard gain. OPI for inelligable reciever. Loss 15 yds + loss of down. I gave the defensice captian these choices: take the penalty, goes back to the 28, your ball 1/10 or decline the foul, take the ball at the 47, 1/10. This to me is correct, 15 + give up the ball, but seems harsh for a kid who just screwed up. this changed the game drastically. BTW: the head coach of A did not agree with the choices. Am I missing something in the rules with an exception?

#2 3/6 B-14. A1 throws a legal fwd pass to A81 who scores a touchdown. After A1 throws the ball, he is drilled by B56. Roughing the passer was called. A choices: accept the results of the play (TD) and have the penalty enforced at the succeding spot (the TRY) 1/2 distance to GL or accept the penalty with no score, 1/goal B-7 or decline the penalty TD. Coach of A wanted the penalty enforced from the kick off.

So, did I screw up? Thanks.

As far as I can tell, you had them both right.

Just as a sidenote, A can never have a penatly from a TD play enforced on the kickoff. Also, you were correct.

1. Illegal Forward Pass. Foul is 10 yards from PLS, DR = 4D/18 @ A-33. Decline is B 1D/10 @ A-47.

2. Count the TD. UR is half the distance on convert (therefore the 2.5) or 15 on the kickoff (therefore the B-50).
