I prefer commando - the chicks dig it
All I know is that if the boys need adjusting, its awful hard to be sly about it standing by yourself at the 50 yardline and 1000 people there looking at the field. It's not like you can yell, "Hey look- there's Elvis!". Briefs and compression shorts keep everything tidy.
