Another time a very small school was a hugh underdog to a good team. When the AD met the crew he asked for the clock operator, told him the clock was broken , paid him and sent him home. Then he told the rest of us that they( the small winless school) had suspended 8 starters for the game because the day before they went out to town for lunch. A violation of school rules. He wanted a fast game. Kickoff 1:05 pm (36-0 score : 20 minute halftime) game over 2:15 pm.
