Any of you guys use the mini fox 40?
If so how do you like it? Is the only difference the size of the whistle? I was hoping maybe its not as hard on the ears so maybe I could use it on youth games where I'm blowing the whistle all day long. |

The camp I went to earlier in the summer gave me one, so I thought I'd try it out. The tone is the same, the volume is the same. It's much easier to talk to the players when it's in your mouth because of the size. I prefer the origional Fox40, so the mini now has a place on my keychain.

Me, too. The mini is what came with my basketball starter pack, and it's been on my keychain so that I never forget to bring my whistle to a game.
But I got its parent for football. I tried them both, the big one seems louder and less shrill, but maybe that's just me.

I never use it. I have had them in the past but felt they did not sound the same. Also if all the crew members have a Classic, why have a different whistle?
Peace
