I'm heading into New York state in a week or two and was wondering if there is anywhere to refresh my officiating gear. I saw Lester's Upstate Sports, but was wondering if there are any more options to choose from.

Thanks for any help.

Lester's is a couple miles from my house. The owner is an official and he does a nice job. Very accomodating.

Where are you coming to in NY?

Get in touch now...

If you're heading to the Albany region, you should e-mail [email protected] today. Our assignors are already working on the first several weeks of the season.

In fact, wherever you're heading, contact the organization as soon as possible - otherwise you may have a hard time getting games this season.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to stop off at Lester's.

This trip is just a vacation for me, so I don't intend on joining any other officials associations while I'm gone.

Thanks for all the help.

Agreed, the only complaint I have about honigs is that their pencils don't have a clip. :/

What pencils did you buy? I have had some for some time and they have always had clips attached. I thought when I went to a clinic on Saturday that they had pencils with clips on them. I could be wrong. The last set of pencils I bought was from +POS, but that was in a pinch. I live close to there warehouse.

Peace

There is actually a Honigs located in my hometown. The only thing is, that after you factor in duties and taxes and the price of the Canadian dollar, the equipment is considerably more expensive to by up here. So I figure, after looking at the prices on the websites that if I make a little pit stop, I can save a bundle.

I heard that Honigs has a shop in Niagara Falls,NY anyone have any info on this??

Yea I know, the pencils I use to have had clips on them(from honigs), but now honigs pencils do not have the clips on them. I'm not sure about +POS but I am probaly going to order some more pencils from OfficialsCorner.com when I need some more because I really like the clip and it appears that they have a clip on them. If you read from the honigs magazine it says they do not come with the clip.
