Don't know yet. I would like to try one of the deep wing spots.

Just a Couple

Order "Referee's Study Guide" by Rogers Redding. Its a great resource in learning the NCAA rules. Honigs has it.

I can't stress staying in the rulebook the entire year. Don't just try to bone up in the summer. This will be my 3rd year in NCAA (13 overall) and I'm just now getting comfortable with the college rules. If you know the rules, you will be a TREASURE to your crew.

Can you send your email to me again? I got a new computer and didn't transfer over existing data.

Thanks for the offer of help. I am sure I can use it.

You can send it to [email protected]

Congrats Mike!

Mike, I know that your years of dedication and hard work are really paying off. Its great that you will step up to Division 3. I had a chance to meet the coach from St. John's in MN yesterday. The guy who holds the NCAA record for coaching wins with over 400 (His team recently beat Mount Union for the D-3 title). (I was the penalty recorder at the Hula Bowl). He is such a soft-spoken and mild mannered gentleman that exudes nothing but low-key class and dignity.

Mike, I would love to have the opportunity you are having to officiate at the D-3 level where college football is still pure but you have the chance to see some great athletes.

Oh, and by the way: finger or lanyard its all good as long as it works for the individual.

P.S. I would do what the others suggested: get a copy of the CCA 6 and 7 man mechanics manuals at honigs.com and download the NCAA rules at their website.
