I think that football is a TEAM game, obviously Randy Moss did well on the play, he didn't get the yardage of the pass, ok, but do you think this BIG play would have been the same if he kept the ball (and the yardage)?? I don't think so. For me, this play is one of the best this season (with saints collective TD and D.Hall returns) and Moss' genius pass showed his commitment to the team and winner mind.
Here in europe we play a game with lot of "laterals", the Rugby, we have a few stats about it and we enjoy only THE GAME.
so let's enjoy Moss-like kinds of play, they're more spectacular than round figures (2000+ yds of J Lewis are meaningless regarding to the TD's or great runs he scores).
