In HS, does the defender have to like for the ball. In other words call a defender face guard the reciever?

In HS, defenders can't faceguard receivers.

A defender who has his back to the ball and raise his arms and hands to block the receiver's vision of the ball is "face guarding" and is guilty of pass interference.
