I've been trying to submit a reply to a topic on the football discussion board for several days now but it wont accept it. All I get is a message saying to contact the bulletin board administrator because they may have run out of disk space. It also says that your web page may be preventing me from posting anything new. I am able to post to the basketball discussion board, why not the football board?

I just tested it and the reply worked for me on the football board (I deleted it though, afterwards).

Can you try again and, if you get an error message, send me the exact message which you are getting? We certainly have enough disk space, so that is not the problem... Everything should be working fine, but I will help you to figure out what is going on.

Brad,
I just tried to submit my reply again and received the same message telling me that it was unable to accept it. However, I was able to post to a new topic on the football board. The reply I'm having trouble with is regarding a topic that was origingally posted back in October '99. Is their a time limit on when replies to a topic can be posted? Here's the message I'm getting when I try to post.

"Sorry, we could not post your reply to this topic. Contact your bulletin board administrator and inform them that they may have run out of available disk space. Their web host may be preventing them from posting new files."

If this topic is too old to post to, that's fine but that's not what the error message would imply. If you have any Q's, let me know. Thanks for you help.

OK - I see the error message... When the board was moved to the new domain, some permissions or something must have been changed. I took a quick look and don't see anything unusual, but something is obviously wrong.

I will try to get it fixed... In the meantime, you may just want to start a new topic on the same subject - that should work fine.

Sorry for the problems.

Thanks,
Brad

Brad,

I created a new topic on the same subject as you suggested and everything worked fine, no problems. Appreciate all your help and the quick response.

Thanks again!
Martin
