Is there any basis in the NBA rules for Nunn's take on the jumpball needing to be retossed once it comes below the player's shoulders without being tapped?

Is this just his personal interpretation without anything in the rule book? I have never heard this thought in almost 20 years of officiating.

Pretty bad miss as with 1:44 left in the fourth quarter as Derrick Stafford clearly held up an open palm and was pointing at the Warriors sideline, then it was inbounded and four seconds was allowed to run when it never should of.

Yeah there were some flukes.. Especially when there was an inadvertent whistle and then went back to review and fix it. Nobody really knew what was going on.

Still not as bad as Game 2 (particularly Tony Brothers.)

Joey Crawford telling Mosgov to "Do me a favor and shut up" is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

If only I could get away with telling coaches that at my level.

Granted the game was a blow out, but I thought they did a nice job. Also, I'm curious what other posters will think but I think that crew on paper is much stronger than any of the other three crews ????

Hope it goes 7 as I would like to see them all work again together...

That comment to a player is unprofessional, disrespectful, classless.
This is the very reason that Joey constantly gets into trouble.
It's time that the NBA whacked him with a significant fine or suspension.

. . . and, still, deep down inside, most of us would LOOOVE to say that to a coach or PITA player just once . . .

This will be my 3rd time. And I will go every year that I'm still officiating high level basketball. All b.s. aside, it is hands down the best camp I've ever attended and I can't imagine not learning something significant and new every year.

Additionally it is 20 minutes from my dad's house, and held the Friday & Saturday of Father's Day weekend.

Hmmm. Worked more NBA Finals than anyone. Worked a critical Game 4 this NBA Finals. Will probably work later in the Finals if the series goes longer. Not sure what the NBA has a problem with if he keeps working.

What we do at our levels have nothing to do with what they do at the professional levels. Nothing we say here is going to change that fact.

Peace

The real drama will be who is officiating Game 6.

Scott Foster, Zach Zarba, and some combination of John Goble, Marc Davis, Derrick Stafford, or Tom Washington.

Really doubt Brothers will be back but I could be wrong.
