Solid points. A lot of stuff that are what I call discriminators. Officials who know how to properly apply these concepts rise above the crowd.

I'm assuming you're referring to the "Avoid OT like the plague" rule or is it the one that says we can't talk about certain things?

That rule's important for me when I work football, but the lanyard is never that long in a basketball game.
