Cut the apron strings

In the rec league I work the coach is directly responsible for the behavior of their parents and will be get T'd for their misbehavior. Today I was working a game with a young 20-something coach (his brother is on the team) and a few of his fans were all over the officials and getting out of hand. I pointed out the offenders to him and he yells across the court "mom, knock it off!" Was not expecting that.
