Tech administration

Watching a game on tv tonight. Not sure the administration was accurate. Situation:

Personal foul on white team, 2 shots for blue team.
during the dead ball, before any FTs, player from white team slams the ball on the floor and it goes to the ceiling.
off official calls the T.

How would you administer the two fouls?

Assuming NFHS:

Penalties administered in the order that they occured.

Shoot the PF FT's first with the lane cleared.
Shoot the T FT's next.
Ball goes to blue at half court.

In NCAA, this is a noncontact Class A technical foul. The correct procedure would be to shoot the two free throws for the technical foul, followed by the POI, which is the free throws for the personal foul.

If this had been a technical foul for contact during a dead ball, then you would deal with it the same way you would for any T in NFHS (shoot in order of occurrence, blue gets ball at division line).
