Can you believe this!?!?
I just watched an old episode of "The Streets of San Francisco" from 1974. In the story, the Police Athletic League was holding a basketball game for "at risk" teenagers. At least half the boys were wearing ILLEGAL numbers!
Can you believe this!? Jerseys issued by a police department having ILLEGAL numbers!!!!!

Even today, it seems most of the time there's a TV/movie dramatization with a basketball game, there's at least one illegal number. I'm more impressed when I see a fabricated contest with all legal numbers.
I think, if the producers of said show watch any basketball at all, it's the NBA. (Speaking of fabricated contests... back to Monday Night Raw...)
