Mark -- Have you been visiting out of state? There hasn't BEEN any rain for about three weeks...

Grass doesn't grow much around here in August, even if you want it to.

In Houston, we only have two seasons:
Summer

As far as grass goes.
The green stuff..That's the weeds
The brown stuff..That's the grass.
All the other stuff..That fire ants.

It's been raining on my side of town. Maybe you guys on the east side didn't pay your rain tax.

I'll be at Fenway tonght. Hope the bums can pull this one off. Oh well, it'll be a beautiful evening to be at the ballpark, but even more beautiful if they win. We SOX fans are a hearty people.

Mick,

It is just the preseason. Mooch will get it together and be at the very least, better than the Bears.

Rut,
You knew I was talkin' about my Tigers.
My Lions are tied for first, and Mooch the Yooper seems to be having some fun.

There is a team called the Tigers? Are you sure you are not talking about the golfer? When does Hockey start?

Of course I knew you were talking about the Tigers, but I just would rather not talk about them, it hurts too much.

Remember I am originally from Michigan. So I feel your pain.

Peace

Another way you can tell it's nearly September is when Lions fans are full of "Hope".
