Announcer really said "You can't call that with 12 seconds left in a championship game." ??????

You have to be kidding me. ...... Even if you buy the line that you "have to let the players decide the game," you MUST make this call. The defense did its job. They get a say in deciding the game too. Why on earth would this talking head believe the offense deserves a break???? (note form the article that the inbounder manned up and took the blame)

And I'm sure the officials had something to do with a D-1 recruit missing 2FTs.

I timed it twice with a stopwatch. I got 5.05 seconds and 5.07 seconds.

I fail to see the problem.

Look at the bright side -- at least the lead didn't call it. :D

I timed it too and got 5.08 and 5.09. I'm glad the kid manned up:
