I would have had a Technical on Louisville for making contact after the PC call at half court. Play 3. Single dead ball contact technical, resume with technical shots and ball at half court, either side, for Cincinnati.

You don't go swipe at the ball and hit the kids arm and now he retaliates and we penalize him.

There is no need to grab the ball, that's our job. You do your job and we'll do ours.

APG, while I agree with the call, it isn't as cut and dry as you make it sound. If you watch the NCAA men's video bulletins on arbiter, these "can" be called prior to the shot if they double clutch and restart the upwards shooting motion after the illegal contact. John Adams says it in video bulletin #6 at about the 1:50 mark. Check it out if you have a chance. It's an interesting play he reviews.

On video #2, I've got the ball having front court status with 26 seconds on the shot clock. No violation.

The player did not get a technical foul for any type of retaliation...he got a T for prolonged arguing with the officials.
