Does anyone know of any training videos that would help
out with rule interpretation, such as traveling violations, etc.

The NFHS has several for sale. You can check them out at the back of the rule book. There is an order form there, too. They're around $25 to buy.

If you belong to an officials association, maybe you can talk them into buying some for training purposes.

And they are well worth every penny of the price. The one on Block/Charge is very helpful. But those shorts!!!!

Except for the one play where a player takes two strides and runs over an opponent and the tape says that it is a block because the defender did not give adequate time and distance.

It's amazing how basketball hasn't changed that much over the past 20 years. (except for the uniforms) I wonder if anyone got hurt during the filming of the block/charge one?

Check out the videos in our Officiating.com store

The three-person videos are outstanding and we have videos of several very successful officials addressing a number of topics.
