I wear a rubber flex belt and blousing straps that connect my shirt to my socks.

I believe they're also called "shirt stays" and can be found pretty cheaply on amazon.com

As far as pants, Smitty has won me over. I'm a 36 waist and they fit pretty well right out of the bag (have 'em hemmed of course). I'm on my third pair now. They seem to last longer than Sansabelt and they're lower priced as well. Did someone say the company that made Sansabelt was bought out or stopped producing them or something?

I wore Smittys pants last year...not bad...bought Honigs this year and they are like wearing gym pants. Tons of room, lightweight. Personally love them and they fit right out of the plastic.

On a side note though, if you are a guy that might fluctuate in the waist during the season, Gerry Davis has some really nice pants that have an "adjustment clamp" on them. When I saw them on line I wasn't sure if the clamp would be too flashy but my partner wore them the other night and they are great looking pants.

I bought my rubber flex belt in 1998...and still wear it today. I don't wear it for basketball anymore but I do wear it in baseball and my military service dress...anyway, it has signs of wear for sure but that son of a gun has been with me from 185 lbs, to 225 lbs and back again! lol
