Sorry if that offends you, but I am not alone in that feeling.

I do not consider anyone that works a regular college or higher level schedule a "High school guy."

Peace
You seem to have developed condescension towards "HS officials" lately. What's with this new attitude?

While college officials can and usually are be better on aveage, there are certainly some HS-only officials that are up there with the best. They may have chosen to not pursue college due to work, family, or something else since college usually requires substantially more time/travel.

I find a lot of HS officials (those that work mostly HS) as very inflexibale or unwilling to be trained. And then they use standards of players that are incapable to do a lot of things, to the standard of men at both the college and pro levels. While at the same time going to fewer camps, going to fewer meetings and the first to complain why they are not getting a shot at higher level ball, all because. The by product of working college, you have to go to more camps and you are working with more experienced officials and partners on a regular basis. We have officials that will not call an intentional foul here or anywhere for simple excessive contact and all of a sudden are now experts on calling plays where elbows are involved and mostly an emphasis at the higher levels when they would find reasons to take the easy way out before to not call an intentional foul. Yeah right.

Peace
