Somewhat OT - bracket contests
Here at the assisted living center where I'm currently residing (not kidding), we had a bracket contest for the NCAA tournament. To win, you had to pick the most game winners in the tournament. Guess who won (out of about 30 participants) - yep, it was me. I got two really nice prizes. One was a small trophy of a basketball player and the stand had my name on it along with "2013 NCAA Bracket Winner". The second prize was getting to pick the pizza toppings for the pizza party. That by itself is a great prize.
Now we're into the NBE tournament (for you newbies, NBE stands for National Basketball Entertainment, like the WWE). As of the close of last nights games, I'm in the lead for this one to, so far! The party for this group will have Chinese food and the winner gets to pick the types of food, plus gets a trophy. Oh yeah, there's no entry fee. It's just an activity here and about 1/4 of the residents participate, since the rest have no interest in basketball (or any other sport, for that matter). Wish me luck, guys and gals. I love Chinese food and I really want them to order the kind I like. BTW - my NBE bracket picks have the Spurs winning it all. Most of the other charts picked the Heat. We'll see.

When Did Mark Padgett Become A Prince ???
I hope that you turned in the entry fee that I sent to you for the Forum NCAA contest to the proper Forum authorities. I really couldn't understand why you sent me a personal email, from Nigeria, asking me to send the fee directly to you, instead of to a Forum administrator.

Congrats to you for remembering that old story. However, this is a different place. The average age of a resident here is somewhere around 80. There's a woman here who is 103 (she's not the oldest) who, 35 years ago, was best friends with my grandmother!

I don't know if she's hot, but she is single. She's outlived two husbands. You could be the third.
