No video please of that injury

We always sort of joke about only stopping play right away for blood or for a bone sticking out of a leg. It's a real shame that happened to Kevin Ware. I don't think I'll be joking about that anymore.

Louisville got away with a push on a defensive rebound at 12:32.

This game would be so fun to officiate. Stuff going on everywhere.

Will still joke about that. This sounds like this is more of a football injury than anything. I have never seen an injury that bad in basketball. Had a dislocated ankle take place in a game once, but that sounds minor to what I am hearing about this injury. I just pray for the kid and his family and his recovery.

Peace

It's the sort of injury that could end a career.

Foul at 9:12, shot waved off. I think it's the right call.

Scenario: If Ware had been fouled during a shot attempt (and that visible leg injury occurs), who shoots the FTs?

Opposing coach's pick from the other four players. There's no exception in the rules for a compound fracture.

Unless there was blood on Ware's leg from the injury, you are correct.

I'm sure there was, but that would make a difference?

I have been. There have been a lot of tough calls, and they got almost all of them right, IMO.

Funny you say that, I was asked about that from a person in a class about someone using fake blood. All I could do is, "" as my expression. And yes, he was serious.

Peace
