And just how does a Floridian know about the seedy past of the Berlin Turnpike? Over the years the Berlin Turnpike has been cleaned up considerably, although we recently had an on duty police officer meet his "girlfriend" at one of motels on the pike. I grew up in and around Berlin...and the Turnpike was still pretty seedy when I left.
