JV folly

I was just reminded of something that happened in a JV game I was half-sleeping to before my varsity game last Thursday.

Father/son team working, BTW.

Ball shoots out of bounds on the end line opposite the L (the father). His help mechanic? He looks out to the T (his son) and gives a big, palms up shoulder shrug.

Response from the T? He gives the big, palms up shoulder shrug right back at him.

In a silent gym, you could probably hear me and my partner laughing out loud. We couldn't help it.

Going to enjoy my night off now.

It was not MTD, Jr., and me. All my partners (including Junior and Daryl Long) know that when I give them my "deer caught in the headlights look" it is his call all of the way: either BLUE, RED, or AP.

That is what I did yesterday. Gave him the ol' Siskel & Ebert.

You actually allow the alternating possession arrow to be used in your games? Hypocrite.

Hey, Junior only know AP. He grew up with it. I guess one has to make sacrifices.
