SEC officials

I noticed that several of the veteran SEC officials are not working in the conference this year. Anyone know what the trouble is? They are working in other leagues.

I heard it was a disagreement on the referees picking which conference would be their primary conference. They could not agree and several took their whistles to other venues. I have missed several of the vets this year and it has hurt the conference very much to lose these guys.

I saw Tom Eades working in the Pac 10 and Bert Smith in the big twelve. Mike Stuart is not working in the SEC . these are several that are MIA?

Looks like Rick Crawford who work in the SEC for years is not working games there either.Looks like Gerald made someone mad!

From what I've heard, there is a pending lawsuit filed by several officials against the SEC/Boudreaux for specific comments made to the staff during meetings. Don't know more detail than that.....

I noticed that JB Caldwell and Mark Whitehead are also working in the big 12 this season. Gerald has lost most of his top referees. I bet he may be looking for a job next season

Whitehead has been working the Big 12 for a couple seasons now.
