I keep an extra in my sock against my calf. Actually in between socks since I wear two pair...only had to use the spare once, and it tasted so disgusting I don't think I will ever forget my whistle again.:)

that just sounds disgusting. i would rather be embarassed and take the time to go get my whistle out of the locker room than ever use a whistle i was storing between my socks!

I carry mine in my pants pocket.

Once in 26 years. I think I'm OK with that percentage. If I break a whistle, they'll just have to wait till I get a replacement, I guess.
