Hooking Foul?

Another one from the Dutch competition:
Surinamsports BC Apollo vs ZZ Leiden 9/12/12 - YouTube
Anyone else think the block at 11:49 should be an PC (hooking) foul?

Now that you mention it...the offensive player did hook the defender.

Probably could "sell" the hook...but, it looks like the block came first.

Probably better to put that in a new thread.....

But I think the angle was too hard to tell if he was pulling with the arm or the arm was just there....that makes all the difference. However, the defender was also illegal by sticking out his knee....at the same time if not a littler before. Defensive foul is fine with me.

From the angle shown, A1 has his head and shoulders past the defender. I like the block call.

Voor JeroenB, ik voonde in Nederland voor twee jaaren (1986-1988). Ik blijf mijn Nederlands geprobeerd, maar ik krijg niet veel kans om te oefenen. Ik ben blij dat je hier post.

You say that in jest but IT IS possible (block and PC foul, not necessarily a block and charge, however).
