Evaluations
I am an athletic administrator and I am looking for a very brief form that officals could fill out after games to rate three people:
Game Administrator Clock Keeper Book Keeper I don't want this to be something that is a pain to fill out. Maybe just circle 1-5 ratings (poor, below average, average, above average, excellent) and then have a place for comments. What are some categories I should use? |

Overall Rating Game Administrator: 1. Attentiveness -- Being aware of problems with coaches and/or parents, 2. Treatment of Referees -- water, food, etc. 3. Communication -- with Scorers/Clock Operators, Referee Crews and Coaches, 4. Timeliness of Activities -- Opening of facility, equipment ready for scorers/timers, communication with coaches and referees at halftime and before games as needed, 5. Attitude -- being pleasant to scorers/clock operators, coaches and referees, etc. 6. Professionalism -- on time, managing fans and coaches appropriately, 7. Overall Rating |
harmbu, I think it's a great idea that you're doing this.
Since you are obviously concenred about the reputation your school has with officials, I would just add don't underestimate the facilities that you provide for your officials. Things like a private room to dress and shower in, an escort on and off the floor, not being lockied out of the lockerroom are just a few things that are important to officials. Quote:
