I would prefer "F.U.D.C".

But that is another discussion.

I hate always having to admit being the stupid one on this forum, but I don't get the T.K. part. . .

Good grief!

T.K. is Toby Keith. He recently spoke out about the Dixie Chicks, President's Bush's favorite country music band. Hopefully, you've heard of them. During the Country Music Awards, the Dixie Chicks were in concert and unable to attend. When they won an award they were nominated for, they appeared via satellite from their concert. The lead singer for the Dixie Chicks had on a t-shirt that read, "FUTK." Get it?

Yeah, I've heard of them and I heard about the flap. They're idiots. Well, the lead singer, anyway. Big deal.

I take it Toby Keith said some negative things about the Dixie Chicks' comments? I've almost got it now. Just one more thing. . .

Who's Toby Keith?

He is a loser that normally sings in Fenway Park -- makes him feel at home.

BTW, your guys did well against the Yankees. Pounded the crap out of them in the first 2 games.

The possible letters on a football jersey are: R, U, H, L, B, S, and F.

Let me know, BktBallRef, if I'm wrong.

Certainly some neat words can be made from those letters. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller says you can spell FLUSH.

Mike

P.S.: I don't know who this Toby Keith person is, but **mn that Dixie Chick singer is annoying.

How about BRUSH, RUSH, BUSH and FLUB!

The flap between Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks was started by Natalie Maines (lead singer for The Chicks). She made several disparraging remarks about Toby's song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" - the song was released and went to #1 in August 2002. The song talks about "Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list" and ends with the line "We'll put a boot in your a$$, it's the American way.". Mr Keith responded with some remarks and the fued was on.

Jim, don't y'all have both kinds of music in Texas, country and western?

Cool

I thought "country music" was an oxymoron.

Long live, well, you know.

I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area...the place where the Dixie Chicks are from...of course there was 4 of them back then and you could see them perform for free sometimes.

And yes, we have both types of music in Texas...there is country and then there is junk.
