It is my understanding that the play occurred during a senior all star game, hence no back court count. I'm also assuming the schools found the officials as the assignor that sends me down there wouldn't have only sent a 2 man crew.

But what about not enough men on the line of scrimmage (or in the backfield...however they count it)?

No no, you're all wrong - this is indoor football, of course! Most indoor leagues are 8-man, but this is 5, OK, no problem. The key point is that in indoor, (Arena league and others), a single man in motion may be moving forward at the snap! And the center moves the ball when the player is even with him - rule states the snap must begin before the player is across the neutral zone. This is a legal play. :-D
