Thumbs up Two in a row

I was watching the Vanderbilt vs. Harvard game and it was nice to continually hear them call Vandy's Brad Tinsley's name. Brad went to HS right here in the Portland area (Oregon City). After that game, the Kentucky vs. Western Kentucky game came on and another former Portland area HS player, Kyle Wiltjer of Kentucky, is a starter in that game. Wiltjer attended a private HS (Jesuit) in Beaverton.

It was just a little cool seeing them in two consecutive games.

dont forget

Terence Jones #3 plays for (Kentucky & Jeff HS)
Clint Chapman (Texas & Canby HS)

There are a few others, but in relation to other officials who have ref'd current D1 and NBA talent, its just not that many.

I saw Matt Glass, Pat Bergmann & Clancy Rugg (all University of Vermont players) play in HS. Also, Austin Rivers played at an AAU game a couple years ago in the Orlando area. I didn't know that while I was officiating the game.
