No.

He took himself out of the ACC tournament. That may be what you're thinking of.

Ah...no, he didn't. They took him off the Tournament.

No different than every HS coach that's fired, it shows up as a resignation in the local newspaper.

He also lost one ACC regular season game and will not work NC State...for a long, long time.

The NCAA does not suspend officials and has no jurisdiction over regular season games.
