Unc/uva

APG,

Around the 12:30 mark of the 2nd half UVA's star player picked up his 4th foul. Lot of whining going on around locally about the call. I didn't see the game, you think you can pull up the play so I can see what the big deal is?

Thanks as always.

Bumping since I see APG is on-line. :)

Was that on the shot?

I cannot see by the angle if he got fouled on the arm.

Peace

I can't tell for sure either...but it was certainly a possibility and the trail would have had a much better angle than that video provides.

Yes it was on the shot as they subsequently shot free throws...I'm also assuming the foul was for a hit on the arm, but the broadcast did not show any additional angles.

I totally agree and I did not want to suggest it was not a foul. The trail would have had a much better angle, but I guess I was surprised they did not have a different angle shown.

Peace

Thanks APG, but I gave you wrong time based on a fanboy blog. It was at the 12:00 minute mark of the 2nd half, so a couple plays later than this one. I just checked the play-by-play myself.

Even though the first one you posted is a good one to look at when the Lead is keeping his eyes low and the Trail comes in to help with contact up top.

OK, now we are going to suspend you from future requests. ;)

HA...I was actually going to ask you if that's the play you meant because the fans were up in arms about that play.

That's what I get for listening to a fan's description of a play. :o They can't even get the dang time correct.

The local paper did have an article on the play in question, focused around Roy Williams defending the officials' call, and it put the wrong time also.

while they are checking that replay to see if it was an F1, can they call the T for the flop?? ;) It didn't look like the L or C had anything, so this call came from T??
