I know some time ago, there was some information posted about where to get the patent leather shoes. I can't seem to find that info, and am interested in getting a pair. If I remember correctly, they were running about $80-90. Can anyone help? Thanks.

one thing about the patent leather
I had heard the NCAA now frowns upon these shoes because they 'draw attention away from the game and to the officials and their feet' or something to that effect. I don't know whether this is truth, fiction, or somewhere in between, but a few college officiating friends of mine have mentioned this.

Up here in the northeast, we just got an email asking for our opinion on going to the gray shirt. I'll let you know if we make the switch, if anybody cares. |
"I've not heard that. It could be a regional thing or a personal preference among assignors"
Actually, I think you're right, that it may be a preference here, as opposed to a nationwide NCAA movement. I should have been more clear in my original statements. I'm in the Midwest. The gray shirt? I like it, actually. |
