Keeping life in perspective. Officiated a Adult league last night. A gentlemen called a time out, went to the bench and collapsed. Apparent heart attack. Our prayers with him & his family.

You never know. Keep the faith & let it ride.

I am an ER physician and I can tell you that a significant number of people collapse and die and that is the first inclination that they have any heart disease. Life is dangerous!

My wife came home from work on Tuesday (local HS) and told me that one of the teachers was writing on the blackboard and collapsed. By the time the medics go to him, he had already started turning blue and died in the classroom. He was only 37 and they are not sure if it was a heart attack or an anurism. Left a wife and 2-year old daughter. Sad day for everyone.
